Description:
The issue is related to an elevation of privilege vulnerability that exists when DirectX improperly handles objects in memory. This could allow an attacker to run arbitrary code in kernel mode, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would first have to log on to the system and then run a specially crafted application.
