Description:
A remote code execution issue exists in the way Microsoft Windows Codecs Library handles objects in memory. This could allow an attacker to take control of the affected system, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights. Exploitation requires processing a specially crafted image file. The issue is related to accessing an uninitialized pointer, which can be exploited using a specially crafted application.
