CVE-2020-1045

CVSS v2.0

7.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:C/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: ASP.NET Core (affected versions not specified)
Description: A security feature bypass issue exists in the way ASP.NET Core parses encoded cookie names. The ASP.NET Core cookie parser decodes entire cookie strings, which could allow a malicious attacker to set a second cookie with the name being percent encoded. This could enable a remote attacker to bypass security features.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
