Description: A denial of service issue exists due to the improper handling of ICMPv6 Router Advertisement packets by the Windows TCP/IP stack. This could allow an attacker to cause a target system to stop responding by sending specially crafted ICMPv6 Router Advertisement packets to a remote Windows computer. The issue does not permit an attacker to execute code or elevate user rights directly.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
