CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Windows (affected versions not specified)
Description: The issue is related to an elevation of privilege vulnerability in Windows, specifically due to the Windows kernel-mode driver's failure to properly handle objects in memory. This could allow an attacker to run arbitrary code in kernel mode, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights. To exploit this, an attacker must first log on to the system and then run a specially crafted application. The vulnerability is addressed by correcting how the Windows kernel-mode driver handles objects in memory.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
