Description:
The issue is related to an elevation of privilege vulnerability in Windows Error Reporting (WER) when it handles and executes files. This could allow an attacker to gain greater access to sensitive information and system functionality by running a specially crafted application. The vulnerability is also described as a buffer overflow issue in memory, which could enable an attacker to elevate their privileges and gain unauthorized access to protected information.
