Description: The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Flex Fields component of Oracle CRM Technical Foundation. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle CRM Technical Foundation, potentially leading to unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle CRM Technical Foundation accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle CRM Technical Foundation accessible data. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker.

Recommendations: For versions 12.1.3, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Flex Fields component until a patch is available.
