Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Java SE versions 7u271, 8u261, 11.0.8, and 15

Description
The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Libraries component of Java SE and Java SE Embedded, allowing a remote attacker to modify, add, or delete data. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to some of Java SE and Java SE Embedded's accessible data.
Recommendations
For Java SE versions 7u271, 8u261, 11.0.8, and 15, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For Java SE Embedded version 8u261, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Libraries component until a patch is available.
Avoid using sandboxed Java Web Start applications and sandboxed Java applets until the issue is resolved.
