Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read when parsing a crafted .aepx file, potentially allowing an attacker to execute code in the context of the current user. This requires user interaction to exploit. The vulnerability is associated with a buffer read beyond allocated memory, which could be leveraged by an attacker to achieve remote code execution in the context of the current user.
Recommendations
For Adobe After Effects version 17.1.1 and earlier, update to a version that addresses this issue to prevent potential code execution by an attacker.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
