Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Search Integration Engine component. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle E-Business Suite Secure Enterprise Search. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification access to critical data or all accessible data, as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.1.3, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Search Integration Engine component until a patch is available.
