Description: The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the PIA Core Technology component. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools accessible data.

Recommendations: For versions 8.57 and 8.58, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
