Description The issue is caused by a lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length stack-based buffer, which could be exploited to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the current user. This requires user interaction, where the target must open a malicious FrameMaker file. The vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted file, potentially allowing them to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For Adobe FrameMaker version 2019.0.6 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
