Description
The issue is related to insufficient data validation in the sharing feature of Google Chrome, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to spoof the contents of the Omnibox (URL bar) via a crafted HTML page. This can also be described as a vulnerability in the screen sharing function, associated with errors in the representation of information by the user interface, allowing a remote attacker to conduct spoofing attacks.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 87.0.4280.66, update to version 87.0.4280.66 or later to resolve the issue.
