Description:
The issue is related to insufficient policy validation in the serial component of Google Chrome, which could allow a remote attacker to potentially perform out of bounds memory access via a crafted HTML page. This could lead to unauthorized access to confidential data, disruption of data integrity, and potentially cause a denial of service.
Recommendations:
For versions prior to 85.0.4183.121, update to version 85.0.4183.121 or later to resolve the issue.
