Description:
A flaw was found in libtiff due to a memory allocation failure in tif read.c. This issue can be triggered by a crafted TIFF file, leading to an abort and resulting in denial of service. The vulnerability may also allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service by exploiting a buffer overflow in memory.
Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
