CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Google Chrome versions prior to 85.0.4183.83
Description: The issue is related to an integer overflow in the WebUSB component of Google Chrome, which could potentially allow a remote attacker to exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. This may enable the attacker to access confidential data, compromise data integrity, and cause a denial of service.
Recommendations: For versions prior to 85.0.4183.83, update to version 85.0.4183.83 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to WebUSB functionality until the update is applied.
