CVE-2020-6564

CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Google Chrome versions prior to 85.0.4183.83
Description: The issue is related to an inappropriate implementation in permissions in Google Chrome, which allowed a remote attacker to spoof the contents of a permission dialog via a crafted HTML page. This vulnerability is also associated with incorrect permission storage in the browser's "Permissions" component, potentially allowing a remote attacker to impact data integrity.
Recommendations: For versions prior to 85.0.4183.83, update to version 85.0.4183.83 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive features that rely on permission dialogs until the update is applied.
