Description: The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the PMIx MPI plugin of the SLURM resource management system. This allows a remote attacker to access confidential data, compromise its integrity, and cause a denial of service.
Recommendations: For Slurm versions prior to 19.05.8, update to version 19.05.8 or later. For Slurm versions 20.x prior to 20.02.6, update to version 20.02.6 or later.
