Description
The issue is related to an uncontrolled resource consumption in the IBM DB2 database management system. An unauthenticated user can exploit this by sending specially crafted packets, which can cause a denial of service due to excessive memory usage. This can be achieved remotely.
Recommendations
For versions 9.7, 10.1, 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
