Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the IBM DB2 database management system when using the SYSIBM schema. Exploitation of this issue may allow an attacker to elevate their privileges using specially crafted commands.
Recommendations
For IBM DB2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes DB2 Connect Server) versions 11.1 and 11.5, consider restricting access to specially crafted Db2 commands to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
