Description
The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the DB2 Management Service of the IBM DB2 database management system. This could allow a local attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations
For versions 9.7, 10.1, 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5, consider disabling the DB2 Management Service until a patch is available to prevent potential denial of service attacks.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
