Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read during Huffman uncompression. This can be demonstrated by the FastHufDecoder::refill function in ImfFastHuf.cpp. The exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.4.1, update to version 2.4.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the FastHufDecoder::refill function in ImfFastHuf.cpp until a patch is available.
