Linux Kernel versions after 4.5-rc1
Description
A flaw was found in the Linux Kernel in the way mremap handled DAX Huge Pages. This flaw allows a local attacker with access to a DAX enabled storage to escalate their privileges on the system. The issue is related to the mm/mremap.c component and involves a buffer data boundary overflow.
Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions after 4.5-rc1, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
