Description The issue is related to a memory leak in the LTE RRC dissector. This could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to improper memory deallocation before removing the last reference.
Recommendations For Wireshark versions 2.6.0 through 2.6.14, update to a version where the issue is addressed by adjusting certain append operations in epan/dissectors/packet-lte-rrc.c. For Wireshark versions 3.0.0 through 3.0.8, update to a version where the issue is addressed by adjusting certain append operations in epan/dissectors/packet-lte-rrc.c. For Wireshark versions 3.2.0 through 3.2.1, update to a version where the issue is addressed by adjusting certain append operations in epan/dissectors/packet-lte-rrc.c.
