Description A flaw was found in OpenLDAP, allowing an attacker to trigger an assertion failure by sending a malicious packet to be processed by OpenLDAP's slapd server. This flaw poses the highest threat to system availability. The issue can be exploited by a remote attacker using a malicious packet, potentially leading to a denial of service.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
