Description The issue is related to resource release errors in the CodeMeter license control application. Exploitation of this issue could allow a remote attacker to disclose protected information by sending specially crafted data. An attacker could send a specially crafted packet to CodeMeter, potentially causing it to send back packets containing data from the heap.

Recommendations For versions prior to 7.10, update to version 7.10 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the CodeMeter application to minimize the risk of exploitation.
