CVE-2020-15662

CVSS v2.0

7.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:C/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Mozilla Firefox for iOS versions prior to 28
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the WKUserScript function used for loading in Mozilla Firefox for iOS. This could allow a remote attacker to load arbitrary files. A rogue webpage could override the injected WKUserScript used by the download feature, potentially resulting in the user downloading an unintended file.
Recommendations For versions prior to 28, update to version 28 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to untrusted webpages to minimize the risk of exploitation.
