Description A flaw found in the dataWindowForTile() function of IlmImf/ImfTiledMisc.cpp can trigger an integer overflow when a crafted file is processed, leading to an out-of-bounds write on the heap. This issue may impact application availability and potentially affect data integrity. An attacker can exploit this flaw by submitting a specially crafted file to be processed by OpenEXR.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
