Description The issue is related to an out of bounds write in the WebRTC component of Google Chrome, which can be exploited by a remote attacker. This exploitation can lead to access to confidential data, disruption of data integrity, and potentially cause a denial of service. The attacker can exploit heap corruption via a crafted video stream.
Recommendations For versions prior to 80.0.3987.87, update to version 80.0.3987.87 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of WebRTC until the update is applied.
