Description
The issue is related to a reference leak in the i2c-imx-lpi2c component of the Linux kernel. The problem occurs when
pm runtime get sync fails, causing the PM reference count to be incremented even though it should not be. This results in a reference leak. The issue can be resolved by replacing pm runtime get sync with pm runtime resume and get to keep the usage counter balanced.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
