Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Vivotek PT7135 IP Cameras versions 0300a through 0400a
Description:
A Command Injection issue exists, allowing a malicious user to execute arbitrary code via the
system.ntp parameter to the farseer.out binary file.Recommendations:
For versions 0300a through 0400a, avoid using the
system.ntp parameter in the farseer.out binary file until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the farseer.out binary file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
