Description:
A denial of service issue exists where the device can be brought into a non-processing state when parsing 32 hex, 33 hex, or 34 hex byte values at the 0x47f offset. The root cause of this issue was an incorrectly configured EEPROM image.
Recommendations:
For Intel e1000e/82574L network controller devices, consider avoiding the use of 32 hex, 33 hex, or 34 hex byte values at the 0x47f offset until a proper configuration of the EEPROM image is ensured.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
