The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the
playerID parameter, which can lead to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This enables attackers to execute malicious scripts on the victim's browser, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data theft.Recommendations:
For WordPress podPress Plugin version 8.8.10.13, avoid using the
playerID parameter in affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation.
