Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Xerox WorkCentre versions prior to 073.xxx.086.15410
Description:
The issue concerns the support/remoteUI/configrui.php script, which does not properly escape parameters. This can allow an unauthenticated attacker to execute OS commands on the device. The "support/remoteUI/configrui.php" script is vulnerable due to improper parameter escaping.
Recommendations:
For versions prior to 073.xxx.086.15410, consider disabling access to the support/remoteUI/configrui.php script until a patch is available. Restrict access to the device to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
