Description:
An issue was discovered on Samsung mobile devices. An attacker can crash system processes via a Serializable object because of missing exception handling.
Recommendations:
For Samsung mobile devices with KK(4.4) software, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk.
For Samsung mobile devices with L(5.0/5.1) software, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk.
For Samsung mobile devices with M(6.0) software, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk.
For Samsung mobile devices with N(7.x) software, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the use of Serializable objects until a patch is available.
