Description:
An issue was discovered that allows information disclosure of memory locations outside a buffer via the "/dev/dsm ctrl dev" endpoint.
Recommendations:
For Samsung mobile devices with L(5.1) software, update to a version that fixes this issue.
For Samsung mobile devices with M(6.0) software, update to a version that fixes this issue.
For Samsung mobile devices with N(7.0) software, update to a version that fixes this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/dev/dsm ctrl dev" endpoint until a patch is available.
