Description The issue arises when TLS is enabled with ssl-endpoint-identification-enabled set to true, causing Apache Geode to fail in performing hostname verification of the entries in the certificate SAN during the SSL handshake. This failure could compromise intra-cluster communication, making it vulnerable to a man-in-the-middle attack.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
