Description:
The issue is caused by a lack of check that the RX FIFO write index read from shared RAM is less than the FIFO size, resulting in memory corruption and potential information leakage. This affects various Qualcomm Snapdragon products, including Auto, Compute, Connectivity, Consumer IOT, Industrial IOT, Mobile, Voice & Music, Wearables, and Wired Infrastructure and Networking.
Recommendations:
For Qualcomm Snapdragon versions APQ8009 through SM8250, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
