A stack-based buffer overflow exists in the initialization of the identification stage due to a lack of check on the number of templates provided. This issue affects various Qualcomm Snapdragon products, including Snapdragon Auto, Snapdragon Compute, Snapdragon Connectivity, Snapdragon Consumer IOT, Snapdragon Industrial IOT, Snapdragon Mobile, Snapdragon Voice & Music, and Snapdragon Wired Infrastructure and Networking.

For Qualcomm Snapdragon versions APQ8096 through SXR2130, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
