Description:
The issue arises from the Kernel reading the CSL defined reserved field as uint16 instead of uint32, potentially leading to memory overflow. This affects Snapdragon Industrial IOT and Snapdragon Mobile in various chipsets, including SDA845, SDM845, and SM8150.
Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
