CVE-2020-17999

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: MiniCMS version 1.10
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by injecting commands via a crafted HTTP request to the "/mc-admin/post-edit.php" API endpoint. This is a result of a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) flaw.
Recommendations: For MiniCMS version 1.10, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/mc-admin/post-edit.php" API endpoint until a patch is available. Avoid using this endpoint with untrusted input until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
