CVE-2020-18685

CVSS v3.1

9.8

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Floodlight versions 1.2 and earlier
Description: The issue is related to poor input validation in the checkFlow function within StaticFlowEntryPusherResource.java. This is due to unchecked prerequisites concerning TCP or UDP ports, or group and table IDs.
Recommendations: For Floodlight versions 1.2 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the checkFlow function in StaticFlowEntryPusherResource.java until a patch is available. Restrict access to the StaticFlowEntryPusherResource.java module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the group or table IDs in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
