| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Jeesns version 1.4.2
Description:
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via a crafted payload in the system error message's text field. This enables attackers to potentially steal user data or take control of user sessions.
Recommendations:
For Jeesns version 1.4.2, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the system error message's text field until a patch is available. Additionally, avoid using the text field in the system error message to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
