| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Jeesns version 1.4.2
Description:
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) issue in the /group/comment component allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via a crafted payload in the
group comments text field. This can be achieved by exploiting the "group comments text field" in the /group/comment API endpoint.Recommendations:
For Jeesns version 1.4.2, consider disabling the
/group/comment component until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the group comments text field to minimize the risk of arbitrary web script execution. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
