| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Jeesns version 1.4.2
Description:
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) issue in the "/localhost/u" component allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via a crafted payload in a private message.
Recommendations:
For Jeesns version 1.4.2, consider disabling the private messaging feature until a patch is available to prevent exploitation of the stored XSS vulnerability in the /localhost/u component. Restrict access to the "/localhost/u" component to minimize the risk of arbitrary web script execution. Avoid using crafted payloads in private messages to prevent potential attacks. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
