Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
OpenClinic GA version 5.173.3
Description:
The issue concerns an exploitable SQL injection vulnerability in the 'patientslist.do' page of the application. Specifically, the
findDistrict parameter in the 'patientslist.do' page is vulnerable to authenticated SQL injection. An attacker can exploit this by making an authenticated HTTP request to the "/patientslist.do" endpoint.Recommendations:
For OpenClinic GA version 5.173.3, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the 'patientslist.do' page or disabling the
findDistrict parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
