Description:
A heap-based buffer overflow issue exists in the configuration server functionality. This can be triggered by a specially crafted JSON object, potentially leading to remote code execution. An attacker can exploit this by sending a malicious packet.
Recommendations:
For version 1.1.0, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the configuration server functionality until a patch is available. Avoid using specially crafted JSON objects in the affected functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
