CVE-2020-35939

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Team Showcase plugin versions prior to 1.22.16 for WordPress
Description: The issue allows remote authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary PHP objects due to insecure unserialization of data supplied in a remotely hosted crafted payload in the source parameter via AJAX. The action must be set to team import xml layouts.
Recommendations: For versions prior to 1.22.16, update to version 1.22.16 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the AJAX endpoint with the team import xml layouts action until a patch is available. Avoid using the source parameter in the affected AJAX endpoint until the issue is resolved.
