Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Allen-Bradley Flex IO 1794-AENT/B version 4.003
Description:
An exploitable denial of service issue exists in the ENIP Request Path Network Segment functionality. A specially crafted network request can cause a loss of communications with the device, resulting in denial-of-service. An attacker can send a malicious packet to trigger this issue.
Recommendations:
For version 4.003, consider restricting access to the ENIP Request Path Network Segment functionality until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the vulnerable network segment to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
