CVE-2020-6776

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Bosch PRAESIDEO versions 4.31 through 4.41 Bosch PRAESENSA versions 1.00 through 1.10
Description: A vulnerability in the web-based management interface allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to trigger actions on an affected system on behalf of another user, known as Cross-Site Request Forgery. This requires the victim to be tricked into clicking a malicious link or submitting a malicious form. A successful exploit allows the attacker to perform arbitrary actions with the privileges of the victim, such as creating and modifying user accounts, changing system configuration settings, and causing DoS conditions. For Bosch PRAESIDEO 4.31 and newer and Bosch PRAESENSA in all versions, the confidentiality impact is considered low because user credentials are not shown in the web interface.
Recommendations: For Bosch PRAESIDEO versions 4.31 through 4.41, update to a version newer than 4.41 to resolve the issue. For Bosch PRAESENSA versions 1.00 through 1.10, update to a version newer than 1.10 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the web-based management interface to minimize the risk of exploitation.
